The invention relates to the processing of data regarding the three dimensional shape of a dental prosthesis, which has two prosthesis sections and a connector section, said connector section being connected to the two prosthesis sections and less stable than the two prosthesis sections, comprising the steps that : - a stability parameter and a stability criterion are determined for the connector section ; - for the stability parameter, the actual value is calculated from the data ; - it is checked for the connector section as to whether the actual value fulfills the stability criterion, and if not, that a warning signal is generated, wherein the determination of the stability criterion is dependent on at least one of the following prosthesis attributes : - the configuration of the prosthesis; - the position of the prosthesis inside the mouth ; - the material and/or the cross-sectional profile of the connector section ; - the type of the prosthesis sections adjoining the connector section.
L'invention concerne le traitement de données se rapportant à la forme tridimensionnelle d'une prothèse dentaire, qui comprend deux sections de la prothèse et une section de raccord. La section de raccord, qui est reliée aux deux sections de la prothèse, est moins stable que les deux sections de la prothèse. Pour mettre en oeuvre le traitement des données, un paramètre de stabilité et un critère de stabilité sont déterminés pour la section de raccord; la valeur réelle du paramètre de stabilité est calculée sur la base des données; il est vérifié, pour la section de raccord, si la valeur réelle satisfait au critère de stabilité et, si la réponse est négative, qu'un signal d'avertissement est généré. La détermination du critère de stabilité est tributaire d'au moins un des attributs de la prothèse suivants: la configuration de la prothèse; la position de la prothèse à l'intérieur de la bouche; le matériau et/ou le profil en travers de la section de raccord; le type des sections de la prothèse attenantes à la section de raccord.
