The invention relates to a prodrugs of 9.alpha.-substituted estratrienes of general formula (I), wherein the Z group is linked to a steroid, (I). The invention also relates to a methods for the production thereof, pharmaceutical compositions which contain said compounds, and to the use thereof. Said inventive compounds of general formula (I) do not bond with the oestrogen receptor alpha and/ or beta but they bond with carboanhydrases and inhibitors of said enzymes.

L'invention concerne des promédicaments d'estratriènes à substitution 9.alpha. de formule (I), dans lesquels le groupe Z est lié au stéroïde, (I). La présente invention porte également sur des procédés pour les réaliser, sur des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant ces composés et sur leur utilisation. Les composés de l'invention de formule (I) ne se lient pas au récepteur d'oestrogène alpha et/ou bêta, mais ils se lient à des carboanhydrases et inhibent ces enzymes.
