A phasor representation of an electrical entity at a geographical location in a multiple phase AC electric power system is produced by receiving a synchronization signal from a remote source, producing a sampling time signal in response to the synchronization signal and a local reference time signal, and producing samples representing an amount of the entity in respective ones of the phases in the AC power system in response to the sampling time signal and the electrical entity in respective ones of the phases in the AC power system. A transformation is performed on the samples to produce a two-axis rotating reference frame representation of the electrical entity in a two-axis rotating reference frame. For each sample, a representation of a sampling time associated with the sample is produced. The two-axis rotating reference frame representation and the representation of the sampling time comprise the phasor representation.
L'invention concerne un diagramme de Fresnel d'une entité électrique se trouvant à un emplacement géographique dans un réseau électrique à courant alternatif polyphasé, ce diagramme étant élaboré par les étapes consistant à recevoir un signal de synchronisation d'une source distante, à produire un signal de temps d'échantillonnage en réponse au signal de synchronisation et à un signal de temps de référence local, et à produire des échantillons représentant une grandeur de l'entité dans des phases respectives du réseau d'alimentation en courant alternatif en réponse au signal de temps d'échantillonnage, et l'entité électrique dans les phases respectives du réseau d'alimentation en courant alternatif. Une transformation est effectuée sur les échantillons afin de produire un repère de référence de l'entité électrique tournant autour de deux axes de rotation dans un système de référence tournant sur deux axes. Pour chaque échantillon, une représentation du temps d'échantillonnage associé à l'échantillon est élaborée. La représentation du repère de référence tournant sur deux axes et la représentation du temps d'échantillonnage comprennent le diagramme de Fresnel.
