ABSTRACT A method of manufacturing a plurality of internal connections for an electric battery, having a casing with a plurality of cell compartments for housing individual cells is provided. The method comprises forming on a single unitary conducting member, a plurality of internal connections, having contact members for abutment with the cells so as to form electrical contact therewith. The unitary conducting member is then secured to part of the battery casing, so that the contact members lie in predetermined positions, relative to the cell compartments. The unitary conducting member is then severed in situ in the casing, into a plurality of separate internal con- nections.
