The invention concerns a product (1) and a procedure for the manufacture of a product (1) for the further transport of an incoming light, comprising at least one layer (3) of material substance (2) in which a number of optical fibre threads (6) are incorporated, each optical fibre thread (6) comprising an input surface (7) for the interception of the incoming light, and an output surface (8) for emission of the incoming light from the input surface (7), in that said surfaces (7, 8) are connected by a body (9) through which body (9) the incoming light is conducted from the input surface (7) to the output surface (8), said output surface (8) and input surface (7) lying substantially free of the layer (3) of the material substance, said layer (3) comprising a first surface (4) oriented towards the incoming light. The input surface (7) and the output surface (8) are both able to intercept and emit light and are extending from the first surface (4), said light including both visible light and UV and infrared light. There is hereby achieved a product and a procedure for the manufacture of said product which reflects an incoming light in the same direction as that in which it has been intercepted. The product is thus suitable for road stripes, signs, clothing, algae growth, airports, tele- and data-communications etc.
L'invention concerne un produit (1) et un procédé de fabrication de ce produit (1) permettant de retransmettre une lumière d'arrivée. Ce produit (1) comporte au moins une couche (3) d'une substance (2) dans laquelle sont intégrées un certain nombre de fibres optiques (6), chacune de ces fibres optiques (6) comprenant une surface d'entrée (7) destinée à intercepter la lumière d'arrivée et une surface de sortie (8) destinée à la transmission de la lumière d'arrivée à partir de la surface d'entrée (7). Ces surfaces (7, 8) sont reliées par un corps (9) à travers lequel la lumière d'arrivée est conduite de la surface d'entrée (7) à la surface de sortie (8), ces deux surfaces étant sensiblement indépendantes de la couche (3) de substance, cette couche (3) comportant une première surface (4) orientée vers la lumière d'arrivée. La surface d'entrée (7) et la surface de sortie (8), qui sont toutes deux capables d'intercepter et de transmettre la lumière, s'étendent à partir de la première surface (4), ladite lumière comportant la lumière visible, la lumière ultraviolette et la lumière infrarouge. On obtient ainsi un produit et un procédé de fabrication de ce produit qui réfléchissent une lumière d'arrivée dans la même direction que celle dans laquelle elle a été interceptée. Par conséquent, ce produit trouve des applications dans les marquages routiers, les signaux, les vêtements, la croissance des algues, les aéroports, la télécommunication et la transmission de données.
