Compositions comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity; an amide represented by the formula R1R2N-C(O)R3 wherein R1 and R2 are hydrocarbyl groups of at least 6 carbon atoms and R3 is a hydroxyalkyl group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a group formed by the condensation of said hydroxyalkyl group, through a hy- droxyl group thereof, with an acylating agent; a nitrogen-containing dispersant; and a phosphorus-containing compound are suitable for lubricating a transmis- sion.
L'invention concerne des compositions comprenant une huile de viscosité lubrifiante; un amide représenté par la formule R1R2N-C(O)R3, dans laquelle R1 et R2 sont des groupes hydrocarbyle renfermant au moins 6 atomes de carbone et R3 est un groupe hydroxyalkyle renfermant de 1 à 6 atomes de carbone, ou un groupe formé par la condensation dudit groupe hydroxyalkyle, via un groupe hydroxyle de ce dernier, avec un agent acylant; un dispersant contenant de l'azote; et un composé contenant du phosphore, lesquelles compositions sont aptes à lubrifier une transmission.
