An industrially advantageous process for the preparation of compounds of general formula (V) exhibiting a steroid C17-C20 lyase inhibitory activity, which is reduced in the number of steps, attains a high yield and dispenses with the use of a heavy metal compound, wherein A is an optionally substituted imidazole ring; R is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group or a heterocyclic group; and R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, and R7 are each hydrogen, optionally substituted hydrocarbyl, OH, SH, NH2, acyl, halogeno, or the like.

L'invention concerne une méthode avantageuse sur le plan industriel pour la préparation de composés de la formule générale (V) ci-dessous, qui présente une activité inhibitrice de la lyase en C17-C20 d'un stéroïde. Cette méthode permet de réduire un certain nombre d'étapes, d'atteindre un rendement élevé et d'éviter l'utilisation d'un composé de métaux lourds. Dans la formule (V), A est un cycle d'imidazole éventuellement substitué, R est un groupe d'hydrocarbure éventuellement substitué ou un groupe hétérocyclique, et R?1¿, R?2¿, R?3¿, R?4¿, R?5¿, R?6¿ et R?7¿ sont chacun hydrogène, hydrocarbyle éventuellement substitué, OH, SN, NH¿2?, acyle, halogéno ou analogue.
