A production method of iron carbide for preventing easy formation of free carbon by reducing and carbonizing an iron-containing raw material for iron production by a reaction gas consisting primarily of hydrogen and methane, comprising the step of adding a steam or carbon dioxide from a piping (7) into a fluidized bed type reactor (1), in addition to a reaction gas supplied from a piping (2) into the reactor (1), in accordance with the generated quantity of free carbon inside the reactor (1) measured by a dust meter (9) so as to suppress the generation of free carbon.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de production de carbure de fer empêchant la formation facile de carbone libre, par réduction et carbonisation d'un matériau brut contenant du fer, pour produire du fer à l'aide d'un gaz réactionnel consistant essentiellement en hydrogène et en méthane, et comportant les étapes: d'injection dans un réacteur (1) à lit fluidisé de vapeur ou de CO¿2? par la tubulure (7), et d'injection du gaz réactionnel par la tubulure (2), en fonction de la quantité de carbone libre produite à l'intérieur du réacteur (1) mesurée par un détecteur de poussière (9), de manière à supprimer la production de carbone libre.
