Process of producing in a plant, in plant tissue, or in plant cells a hetero- oligomeric protein comprising at least a first and a second protein subunit, said process comprising expressing in plant cells at least said first and said second protein subunit by (i) providing to said plant, said plant tissue or said plant cells a plus-sense single-stranded RNA viral vector encoding at least said first and said second protein subunit or (ii) providing to said plant, said plant tissue or said plant cells a first and a second plus- sense single-stranded RNA viral vector, said first viral vector encoding at least said first protein subunit, said second viral vector encoding at least said second protein subunit, whereby at least said first viral vector and said second viral vector are non- competing viral vectors.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire, dans une plante, un tissu de plante, ou des cellules de plante, une protéine hétéro-oligomère comportant au moins une première et une deuxième sous-unité de protéine. Ce procédé consiste notamment à exprimer, dans les cellules de plante, au moins ladite première et ladite deuxième sous-unité de protéines, par : (i) apport, à la plante, au tissu de plante, ou aux cellules de plante, d'un vecteur viral à ARN monocaténaire sens positif qui code au moins la première et la deuxième sous-unité de protéine, ou par ; (ii) apport, à la plante, au tissu de plante, ou aux cellules de plante, d'un premier et d'un deuxième vecteur viral à ARN monocaténaire sens positif. Selon l'invention, le premier vecteur viral code au moins la première sous-unité de protéine, tandis que le deuxième vecteur viral code au moins la deuxième sous-unité de protéine, au moins le premier vecteur viral et le deuxième viral n'étant pas des vecteurs viraux concurrents.
