IMPROVEMENTS IN AND RELATING TO THE PRODUCTION OF COMPOSITE ARTICLES Abstract of the Disclosure A blank of flexible sheet material has a peripheral moulding of synthetic plastics material. The blank has a generally planar central part. An inner marginal part extends from the central part and lies in a different plane than that of the central part. A planar outer marginal part extends from the inner marginal part in a plane parallel to and spaced from the plane of the central part. The peripheral moulding has an inwardly extending part secured to the marginal parts on the face of each that is directed away from the direction in which the inner marginal part extends and includes a skirt extending in a direction opposite to the aforesaid direction.
