A b s t r a c t Production of drawn filaments by cooling freshly spun filaments at a temperature below the setting point and taking them off at 3,500 m/min while passing them over heated surfaces, such heated surfaces being 20 to 300 mm long, heated to 450 to 650°C and arranged at a distance of 1,500 to 6,500 mm from the spinneret.
