A method of forming microparticles (especially including a pharmaceutically active agent) comprises incorporating an emulsifier in an aqueous liquid or in a non-aqueous solution (e.g. of dichloromethane) containing a polymer; forming a dispersion of the aqueous liquid in the non-aqueous solution; and agitating and adding a non-solvent (e.g. silicone oil) for the polymer. The presence of the emulsifier allows microparticle production over a wide range of conditions.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour former des microparticules (et tout particulièrement celles comprenant un agent pharmaceutiquement actif) qui consiste à incorporer un émulsifiant à un liquide aqueux ou à une solution non aqueuse (p.ex., à du dichlorométhane) contenant un polymère; à former une dispersion de liquide aqueux dans une solution non aqueuse; et à l'agiter en ajoutant un non-solvant (p.ex., de l'huile de silicone) pour le polymère. La présence de l'émulsifiant permet de produire des microparticules dans des conditions les plus variées.
