O.Z. 0050/35291 Abstract of the Disclosure: A photopolymer gravure printing plate which has improved hardness and abrasion- resistance is produced by imagewise exposure of a layer which is applied to a base and comprises a photoinitiator- containing mixture of polymers and photopolymerizable monomers, development of the relief image by removing the unexposed areas of the layer, drying the resulting plate at from 60° to 130°C, and subsequently baking it at from 200° to 260°C to reduce its thickness by 10 to 50%.
