A method for producing a polyorganophosphazene, such as, for example, poly[di(carboxylatophenoxy)phosphazene], from polydichlorophosphazene. The polydichlorophosphazene is reacted with at least one nucleophilic reagent at a defined molar ratio of the at least one nucleophilic reagent to the polydichlorophosphazene. Such process results in the production of a polyorganophosphazene having a molecular weight within a desired range.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'un polyorganophosphazène, tel qu'un poly[di(carboxylatophénoxy)phosphazène], par exemple, à partir d'un polydichlorophosphazène. On fait réagir le polydichlorophosphazène avec au moins un réactif nucléophile le rapport molaire du réactif nucléophile au polydichlorophosphazène étant défini. On obtient avec un tel procédé un polyorganophosphazène ayant un poids moléculaire compris dans une plage désirée.
