ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention is a process for the prepa- ration of polytriazines comprising contacting aromatic polycyanates in the presence of a catalytic amount of a metal salt of a carboxylic acid at a temperature between 20°C and 200°C. The process is characterized in that the catalyst is a cobalt salt of a C6-20 carboxylic acid.
