ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE In the production of tertiary olefins using alkyl tert-alkyl ethers as raw material, a method is disclosed for the production of tertiary olefins characterized by using a catalyst produced by supporting an aluminum compound on a carrier containing silicon oxides, follow- ed by calcining at a temperature above the one at which said aluminum compound decomposes.
