PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention concerne une méthode et un système de production d'un effluent contenu dans une formation géologique comportant un puits central et des drains subhorizontaux. Le système selon l'invention se caractérise en ce que le puits principal comporte une zone perforée au niveau de la formation géologique, un conduit d'injection reliant la zone perforée à une source d'injection d'un produit de déplacement, et en ce que les drains subhorizontaux passent dans la formation et ont une longueur telle qu'ils s'interrompent à une certaine distance non nulle de l'axe du puits principal.
