The present invention relates to the single use of the progesterone-receptor antagonist 11.beta.-(-4-acetylpheny)-17 .beta.-hydroxy-17.alpha.-(1,1,2,2,2-pentafluoroethyl)- estra-4,9-dien-3-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative or analogue thereof for the prophylaxis and treatment of BRCA1- or BRCA2-mediated breast cancer, as well as to a combination comprising the progesterone- receptor antagonist 11 .beta.-(4-acetylphenyl)-17.beta.-hydroxy-17.alpha.-(1,1,2,2,2- pentafluoroethyl)-estra-4,9-dien-3-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative or analogue thereof, together with at least one pure antiestrogen, for the prophylaxis and treatment of BRCA1- or BRCA2-mediated breast cancer, ovarian cancer endometrial cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer.endometriosis, myeloma, myoma and meningioma. The present invention also relates to a combination of the progesterone-receptor antagonist 11 .beta.-(4-acetylphenyl)-17.beta.-hydroxy-17.alpha.-(1,1,2,2,2-pentafluoroethyl)-estra-4,9- dien-3-one or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative or analogue thereof, together with at least one EGF or EGFR targeting drug, for the prophylaxis and treatment of BRCA1- or BRCA2-mediated breast cancer, ovarian cancer endometrial cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, endometriosis, myeloma, myoma and meningioma.
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation unique d'un antagoniste des récepteurs à la progestérone 11 .beta.-(4-acétylphényl)-17.beta.-hydroxy-17.alpha.-(1,1,2,2,2-pentafluoroéthyl)-estra-4,9-dièn-3-one ou un dérivé ou un analogue pharmaceutiquement acceptables de celui-ci pour la prophylaxie et le traitement du cancer du sein médié par BRCA1 ou BRCA2, ainsi qu'une combinaison comprenant l'antagoniste des récepteurs à la progestérone 11 .beta.-(4-acétylphényl)-17.beta.-hydroxy-17.alpha.-(1,1,2,2,2-pentafluoroéthyl)-estra-4,9-dièn-3-one ou un dérivé ou un analogue pharmaceutiquement acceptables de celui-ci, et au moins un anti-AEstrogène pur, pour la prophylaxie et le traitement du cancer du sein médié par BRCA1 ou BRCA2, du cancer des ovaires, du cancer de l'endomètre, du cancer gastrique, du cancer colorectal, de l'endométriose, d'un myélome, d'un myome et d'un méningiome. La présente invention concerne également une combinaison de l'antagoniste des récepteurs à la progestérone 11 .beta.-(4-acétylphényl)-17.beta.-hydroxy-17.alpha.-(1,1,2,2,2-pentafluoroéthyl)-estra-4,9-dièn-3-one ou un dérivé ou un analogue pharmaceutiquement acceptables de celui-ci, et d'au moins un médicament ciblant l'EGF ou l'EGFR, pour la prophylaxie et le traitement du cancer du sein médié par BRCA1 ou BRCA2, du cancer des ovaires, du cancer de l'endomètre, du cancer gastrique, du cancer colorectal, de l'endométriose, d'un myélome, d'un myome et d'un méningiome.
