The present invention relates to a prognostic molecular signature for sarcomas, and in particular for genetically complex sarcomas, and to the use thereof for predicting the overall survival of a patient, particularly for predicting the appearance of metastases but also for differentiating prognostically separate sub-groups within a group of tumors having the same histological grade. Said molecular signature can also be used for testing the effectiveness of a treatment or for producing novel therapeutic agents.

La présente invention est relative à une signature moléculaire pronostique des sarcomes, et notamment des sarcomes à génétique complexe, et son utilisation pour prédire la survie globale d'un patient, en particulier de prédire la survenue de métastases, mais également pour distinguer des sous-- groupes de pronostic distinct au sein d'un groupe de tumeurs de même grade histologique. Cette signature moléculaire peut également être utilisée pour tester l'efficacité d'un traitement, ou pour obtenir de nouveaux agents thérapeutiques.
