ABSTRACT Program control mechanism for controlling systems, more especially cooling systems In a program control mechanism for controlling systems, more especially cooling systems, including a program transmitter for switching devices, more especially electric devices, on and off in a time-dependent manner, which mechanism is formed as at least one disc which is set in rotation by means of a motor and is provided with a plurality of control tracks in the form of concentrically disposed light and dark segments. A photoelectric scanning device is provided being associated with each control track and a switching device is connected to each output of the scanning device. The disc (3) is formed from transparent material, wherein the dark segments of the control tracks (sl to s4) are detachably applied to the disc (3). The dark segments are preferably formed from plastics material and are applied to the disc (3) by adhesion.
