PROGRAMMABLE RADIO ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An arrangement for externally programming a number of different radios with different commands from a common source. Each radio has an identification symbol and a memory for storing commands. Following proper identification from the common source of a particular radio or radios, using the identification symbols, the source can transmit commands to be stored in the memory of the identified radio or radios. The newly stored commands can be compared with the transmitted commands at the common source to check for accuracy.
