ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The programmable switching assembly has a series of code entry switches to enter a given code in the assembly, in order to render conductive the circuit of an output relay to be activated by a manual relay-activating switch; a manually-operated by-pass switch serves to by-pass the code entry switches, whenever desired. The code entry switches must be operated within a certain time delay; otherwise the circuit becomes incapacitated. Similarly, the circuit becomes incapacitated if code entry switches not connected to the proper inputs of the circuit is actuated. A DIP switch is connected between the code entry switches and the main circuit, in order to vary the code to be entered.
