A toy vehicle (10) has a vehicle body (12), a firing apparatus (24) rotatably mounted on the vehicle body and a ram (150) mounted within the firing apparatus. A spring (165) is operably coupled to the ram and a firing lever (154) is rotatably coupled to the firing apparatus and the ram. Rotation of the firing lever retracts the ram against the spring and abruptly releases the ram to strike a projectile (40) within the firing apparatus to fire the projectile from the firing apparatus. A pair of foot rests (36,38) are pivotally mounted and releasably latched to the vehicle body and released by a button (155) mounted on the rear of the vehicle body. The toy vehicle further includes circuitry having switches (34, 143) for operating light and/or sound effects on the toy vehicle.

La présente invention concerne un véhicule-jouet (10). Ledit véhicule-jouet possède un corps de véhicule (12), un appareil de mise à feu (24) monté rotatif sur le corps de véhicule et un coulisseau (150) monté dans l'appareil de mise à feu. Un ressort (165) est accouplé de manière fonctionnelle au coulisseau et un levier de mise à feu (154) est accouplé rotatif à l'appareil de mise à feu et au coulisseau.
