ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A projectile fuse for a spinning projectile containing a detonator cap and an electromagnetic ignition current generator which possesses as a first component of the generator a permanent magnet and as a second component of the generator an armature coil, wherein one generator component is fixedly mounted and the other generator component is rotatably mounted, the armature coil being connected through the agency of electrical elements with with detonator cap. The rotatably mounted generator component is formed by the armature coil which together with the electrical elements and the detonator cap is arranged in a rotatably mounted cage for the purpose of increasing the inertia of one component of the generator to assure an adequate electrical output.
