A projection TV including a body including (1) a television receiver a cathode ray tube and an optical apparatus and (2) a screen fixed on a front face of the body. Images are displayed on the screen using the optical apparatus which projects an image produced by the cathode ray tube on the screen. A mounting cross bar is provided for fixing an end of the screen to the front face of the body. A hooking mechanism is formed on the mounting cross bar and the body. The mounting cross bar is attached to the body using the hook mechanism, and the screen is fixed to the front face of the body by the mounting cross bar hooked to the body.
