A portable, disposable, unitary microorganism proliferation and delivery apparatus (10) is provided. The apparatus (10) comprises a proliferation chamber (12) for containing a growth medium (14); and an inoculation chamber (16) for containing an inoculum (18). The proliferation and inoculation chambers (12 and 16) are connected by a tube (19) defining a passage (20), which is closed by a separating means in the form of a septum (22). The inoculation chamber (16) is provided or defined by a flexible vial having a mouth (16.1) and the septum (22) closes the mouth. Opening means in the form of a spike (24) is mounted in the passage (20) directed at the septum (22). The mouth (16.1) of the inoculation chamber (16) is connected to one end of the tube (19) by an advancement means in the form of a screw thread connection (26).
La présente invention se rapporte à un appareil de prolifération et d'administration de micro-organismes (10), qui est monobloc, jetable et portable. Ledit appareil (10) comprend une chambre de prolifération (12) conçue pour contenir un milieu de croissance (14) et une chambre d'inoculation (16) conçue pour contenir un inoculum (18). Les chambres de prolifération et d'inoculation (12 et 16) sont connectées par un tube (19) définissant un passage (20), qui est fermé par un moyen de séparation se présentant sous la forme d'une cloison (22). La chambre d'inoculation (16) est dotée d'une fiole souple ou est définie par une telle fiole ayant un orifice d'entrée (16.1) et la cloison (22) obture ledit orifice d'entrée. Un moyen d'ouverture se présentant sous la forme d'un pic (24) est monté dans le passage (20) de manière à être orienté vers la cloison (22). L'orifice d'entrée (16.1) de la chambre d'inoculation (16) est connectée à une extrémité du tube (19) par un moyen de déplacement se présentant sous la forme d'un raccord fileté de type vis (26).
