The invention relates to a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) comprising at least one promoter sequence, which is derived from a wild-type promoter of a methyltrophic yeast, whose transcription efficiency is modulated in comparison to the efficiency of the wild-type promoter by inserting or modifying a DNA binding site. The invention also relates to host cells, expression vectors, kits and methods for producing proteins while using the inventive DNA, as well as to different uses of the same and to a method for producing expression vectors.

L'invention concerne un acide désoxyribonucléique (ADN) comprenant au moins une séquence promotrice, dérivée d'un promoteur de type sauvage de levure méthylotrophe, dont l'efficacité de transcription est modulée comparativement à l'efficacité du promoteur de type sauvage, par introduction ou modification d'un site de liaison d'ADN. Ladite invention concerne en outre des cellules-hôtes, des vecteurs d'expression, des kits et des procédés permettant de produire des protéines à l'aide de l'ADN selon l'invention, ainsi que leurs différentes utilisations, de même qu'un procédé pour produire des vecteurs d'expression.
