Disclosed is the apparatus for stabilizing a propane tank while being transported. This apparatus would be manufactured from plastic that would male this device fairly durable and long lasting. Once the base of the propane tank is placed into the tank stabilizer, the propane tank and the base of the tank will travel in a relatively vertical position, due to gravity. The apparatus also has a base which is larger the largest diameter of the propane tank and accordingly the tank becomes more stable when positioned in the apparatus. The 4 rubber feet at the bottom of this device ensure that whether the vehicle used for transporting has carpeting or has a metal base, it will secure the tank and make it much more stable while transporting. While a 20 lb. propane gas tank is common with barbeques for home use, it will be appreciated the invention is not limited solely to these tanks.
