A scooter is a vehicle with two wheels. One in the front with a handle bar for steering and one in the back with a free wheeling hub with a small gear instead of a sprocket as is customery with small bikes. The connection between the two wheels is the running board. Fastened on top of the running board is a short board hinged off center to allow a movement like a teeter-totter. When stepped on with both feet the downward force created is transfered to the rear wheel by means of a straight gear bar that is connected with a linkage to the teeter-board.
