ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Polypropylene oxide polymers are blended with halobutyl polymers, such as bromobutyl and chlorobutyl, to give compositions which, compared to the polypropylene oxide polymers, exhibit easy processability and which are co-vulcanizable with sulfur vulcanizing system to rubbery compositions with improved dynamic properties, compression set and cut growth resistance, thereby making them suitable for use where these properties are important, and suitable in induces where polypropylene oxide polymers have previously been proposed, ? ?hock and vibration absorbing and damping applications.
