The invention relates to a prosthesis comprising at least one artificial limb (6) of an extremity and a shank (2), connected to the artificial limb (6), comprising a proximal opening for accommodating an amputation stump. The aim of the invention is to reduce the weight of a prosthesis of the above kind and increase its wearing comfort. For this purpose, the shank (2) consists of a stable outer shank (3) constituting the connection to the artificial limb (6) and a flexible inner shank (4). The outer shank (3) has a distal endpiece (6) and shell segments (7, 8) extending therefrom towards the proximal parts, forming a space (9) between them.
Prothèse comportant au moins un membre artificiel (6) d'une extrémité et un fût (2) relié à ce membre artificiel (6) et doté d'une ouverture proximale (5) pour recevoir un moignon. L'invention vise à réaliser une prothèse de poids réduit et conférant un confort de port élevé. A cet effet, le fût (2) est constitué par une tige externe (3) stable établissant la liaison avec le membre artificiel (6) et par un élément interne (4) souple, et la tige externe (3) présente une extrémité distale (6) à partir de laquelle s'étendent, vers le côté proximal, des segments de coque (7,8) ménageant entre eux un espace (9).
