Abstract A protected coupled hentriakontapeptide is disclosed of the sequence: Image wherein oBr-Z is o-bromobenzyloxycarbonyl; Bzl is benzyl; Boc is t-butyloxy- carbonyl and ? is a styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer resin. A process is disclosed for the preparation thereof which comprises synthesizing such a com- pound using conventional solid phase peptide synthesis.
