ABSTRACT PROTECTED PIGMENT Pigments which are unstably at high temperatures are protected by inclusion in zirconium silicate crystal Improved protected pigment are produced by the stop of precipitating the constituents of the protected pigments from squeous or non-squeous solution. Especially. applicable to pigments for ceramics such as those containing cadmium and pigments for use in plastics where contanimation of foddstuffs is to be avoided.
