14 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a disk protection cartridge. This cartridge, which has a substantially parallelepiped shape, is constituted by a sheath having a lateral aperture into which a stiffening end piece gets fitted, said sheath including, on at least one of its upper or lower faces, a window closed by a movable shutter. The disclosure is applicable more particularly to optical disks. FIGURE 2.
