Description

A protection device for a spa pack has a switch responsive to failure of the power supply for the spa pack and a warning device responsive to operation of the switch to provide a warning of failure of the power supply for the spa pack. The protection device has a first auxiliary heater responsive to operation of the switch to supply heat to the spa pack compartment, a second auxiliary heater and pump responsive to operation of the switch to heat water and circulate the water in the spa, a light responsive to operation of the switch to provide light for servicing of the spa pack, and an automatic dialing system responsive to operation of the switch to provide automatic placement of a warning signal on a telephone line connected alarm system. The switch is connected within a circuit protected by a ground fault interrupter.
