ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A process is proposed for providing a corrosion- resisting liner of flue gas lines or the like by an application of sheets of corrosion-resisting steel. In the process, the wall to be protected is provided with bores and studs are inserted through said bores and may be joined by stud welding to an internally disposed sheet of corrosion- resisting steel. The sheets are then tightly contacted with the wall by tensile forces acting on the studs and the studs are subsequently gastightly joined to the wall by fillet welds.
