As a result of an extensive study for the purpose of developing a novel medical application for an indazole derivative, it is found that an indazole derivative can inhibit the apoptosis of retinal neuronal cells induced by glutamic acid in fetal rat retinal neuronal cells, that is, an indazole derivative acts on retinal neuronal cells directly and exerts a protective effect against retinal neuronal cells. Accordingly, an indazole derivative is useful for the prevention or treatment of a ophthalmic disease associated with a retinal neuronal cell disorder or a retinal disorder.
A la suite d~une étude poussée dans le but de développer une application médicale novatrice d~un dérivé d~indazole, on a découvert qu~un dérivé d~indazole peut inhiber l~apoptose des cellules neuronales rétiniennes induite par l~acide glutamique dans les cellules neuronales rétiniennes de l~embryon de rat, c~est à dire qu~un dérivé d~indazole agit directement sur les cellules neuronales rétiniennes et exerce un effet protecteur contre les cellules neuronales rétiniennes. En conséquence, un dérivé d~indazole est utile pour la prévention ou le traitement d~une maladie ophtalmique associée à un trouble cellulaire neuronal rétinien ou à un trouble rétinien.
