A protective casing for a pair of parking meters mounted on a coin box on a post has casing portions including the coin box therebetween, with opposite sides of the casing portions in mutual interengagement at opposite sides of the coin box. A retainer projects horizontally from one casing portion between the parking meters and is secured by a lock to the other casing portion. A retaining pin extends through the casing portion and, also, through the post and is secured by another lock, so that the casing portions are secured to one another and to the post. A security device can be secured to the casing by the lock so as to prevent access to a gap between the parking meters.
