ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Metal parts, such as bolts, fasteners, and the like having improved corrosion resistance are obtained by (a) phosphating the metal part and, thereafter (b) coating the metal with an aqueous coating composition consisting essentially of: (1) a phosphating oil, (2) a siloxane which is either a polyalkyl-siloxane or an alkylpolysiloxane, and (3) water.
