The invention relates to a measuring device having a protective cover and a sensor arranged in the protective cover and consists in that the protective cover has a metal support tube which is closed on one side and on the outer surface of which a coating made of a material that cannot be wetted by aluminium is arranged, and in that a further layer made of a material that can be wetted by aluminium is applied to said coating.
