An hemispherical or domed protective cover for trash bags and garbage cans comprised of a fabric or plastic flexible material that is open on the bottom and easily wraps around and encloses one to ten household trash bags. The cover is provided in a single piece formed from panels having pockets near the bottom edge to which weights are added. There is a drawstring around the lower edge to further secure the cover over its contents. The cover has a fabric handle attached to the top centre portion for storage and lifting. The cover is provided with a loop or grommet near the bottom edge for an attachment point if an additional anchor is required.
