The present invention is a system for installing a protective trim for the fascia board of a structure. The system facilitates the mounting of the protective trim, by providing a channel or receptacle for holding the trim, such that the trim will require no nails for its adherence. It includes an inner supporting piece of suitable protective covering material, having a channel and secured against or parallel to the fascia board. It also includes an outer fascia trim piece, which is fitted into the channel Further, the invention also comprises corner and straight joint pieces for correcting fascia trim around corners and long sections of fascia board.
