Le dispositif comprend un couvre-face (12), un masque oro-nasal (14) et des moyens de maintien du couvre-face sur le visage. Le couvre-face (12) est muni d'un joint souple entourant les yeux, des moyens d'étanchéité à sa périphérie et d'un raccordement obturable (30) à une alimentation en gaz filtré.
