ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a protective device for induction heating apparatus which comprises an excitor for an induction-heating a heating element; a detecting device for detecting a state of the heating element on the excitor; and means for stopping the operating voltage to the excitor when the detecting device detects an abnormal state of the heating element and for applying the operating voltage to the excitor after a predetermined delay time, when an abnormal state of the heating element is not detected, in the actuation of the excitor.
