- 13 - A b s t r a c t : A protective device for the disk drive of a computer has a main section (2) which can be more or less completely inserted into the disk drive, a lock section (3) projecting outside the disk drive, and a cover unit (10) for at least a part of the loading slot of the disk drive. A floppy disk is provided as the main section (2) or the main section is in any case provided with a floppy disk. The cover unit (10) prevents removal of the floppy disk in the locked position. (Figure 1)
