Safety eyewear is presented which is provided with particulate and liquid sealing around a frame containing lens/lenses and having temples that provide adjustment of the eyewear to a pantoscopic angle. The eyewear is provided with an adjustable strap assembly for better fir to the wearer's head. The eyewear lens/frame includes a plurality of projections that define various pantoscopic angles. The temple end piece includes a set of recesses that engage the projections formed on the lens/frame which temple end piece is rotated relative to the lens/frame to set the pantoscopic angle. The adjustable strap assembly further adjust the fit of the eyewear and can be unbuckled for snaplocked attachment of the eyewear directly to other safety equipment such as noise suppression ear muffs, communication head phones, breathing masks and the like. A plurality of ventilation channels is disposed on the frame to provide indirect ventilation. The frame includes a skirt which is designed to prevent unwanted foreign matter, including liquids, from entering underneath the eyewear and making contact with the eyes of a user.

L'invention concerne des lunettes de sécurité, qui présentent un joint particulaire autour d'une monture comportant un/des verre(s) et qui est pourvue de branches permettant le réglage des lunettes selon un angle pantoscopique. Ces lunettes sont pourvues d'un ensemble lanière réglable, pour une meilleure adaptation à la tête de l'utilisateur. L'ensemble verre/monture des lunettes comporte plusieurs saillies définissant plusieurs angles pantoscopiques. L'embout de branche comporte une série d'évidements qui viennent en prise avec les saillies formées sur l'ensemble verre/monture. On tourne cet embout de branche par rapport à l'ensemble verre/monture afin d'établir l'angle pantoscopique. L'ensemble lanière réglable, qui sert à ajuster l'adaptation des lunettes, peut également être décroché pour permettre une fixation à déclic des lunettes directement à un autre équipement de sécurité, tel qu'un casque antibruit, les écouteurs d'un appareil de communication, un masque respiratoire ou tout autre équipement analogue. On place sur la monture plusieurs passages de ventilation pour assurer une ventilation indirecte. La monture comprend une jupe conçue pour empêcher des matières étrangères indésirables, y compris des liquides, de pénétrer sous les lunettes et d'entrer en contact avec les yeux de l'utilisateur.
