A protective garment (10) incorporates a mask portion (12) and a body portion (14) which are configured to filter out airborne particulates. The protective garment (10) outwardly has the appearance of a conventional shirt, sweater or jacket, yet incorporates a convenient, easy to use, and readily accessible mask that is always available to the wearer and is ready for use on short notice. The mask portion (12) is configured to be worn as a folded over collar (21) when not in use and to be unfolded and rolled up to cover a wearer's nose and mouth and substantially all of the wearer's neck when in use as part of the protective garment (10).
L'invention concerne un vêtement de protection (10) comportant une partie de masque (12) et une partie de corps (14) conçues pour filtrer des matières particulaires en suspension dans l'air. Le vêtement de protection (10) a l'aspect d'une simple chemise, d'un tricot ou d'une veste, mais comporte pourtant un masque commode, facile à utiliser, aisément accessible, toujours à la disposition du porteur et est opérationnel en peu de temps. Inutilisée, la partie de masque (12) est conçue pour être portée comme col replié (21) ; et pour être dépliée et déroulée pour couvrir le nez et la bouche et sensiblement tout le cou du porteur quand elle est utilisée en tant qu'élément du vêtement de protection (10).
