Abstract The protective glove according to the invention comprises an outer layer and an inner lining layer for each of the finger elements (1), the central hand part and the wrist part (2), which are each designed as a whole and are connected at the break lines of adjacent regions of the abutting edges (3) by means of a seam. A fold (5), which, on the side of the thumb, runs inwards from the glove edge, is placed in the outer layer of the central hand part and of the wrist part. (Fig. 1)
