ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A protective headgear comprising, a shell, and a flexible fluid-filled liner positioned within the shell and hav- ing a hollow annular member adjacent an upper central portion of the liner for placement over the top of the wearer's head inter- mediate the ears. The liner has a plurality of hollow spoke members communicating with and extending radially from the annu- lar member toward a lower portion of the shell.
