ABSTRACT A free-standing structure consisting of support rods extending from spaced-apart ground locations to a raised, substantially central region upon which the rods converge. A rod-retaining member has a plurality of openings, into which of which a rod can be inserted. The openings are in a peripheral portion, and each opening cooperates with a clamp member adapted to be tightened against a rod inserted into the respective opening, thus retaining the rod in position.
